The real big update to this 2024 Creta is the styling, and it’s far more palatable than before. The face is completely new, with clear links to the other SUVs in the range, its split headlamp design, and its strong DRL line-up top.
There are sequential indicators as well, which are looking very cool. It has 17-inch wheels, and in profile, not much has changed. The rear tail lamps mimic the front DRLs in their design and look pretty. It comes with the dark green metallic paint option which Looks black in some light, and green in others.

Interior & Features
The interior also gets a nip and tuck. Something else that’s new is the trim colours the Creta gets a new light and dark grey colour scheme on the dash with copper seats accenting all over the place. Three features headline the occasion dual-zone climate control, Level 2 ADAS and the new digital instrument cluster. The digital cluster is straight out of the Alcazar. Miles is better than the semi-digital, semi-analogue unit from the older Creta. It’s nicely resolved in the dash as well, with the infotainment screen and this new cluster flowing seamlessly from one to the other on this floating unit.
Hyundai is one of the most advanced technology-aided feature package cars in its segment. This Creta comes with features like a 360-degree camera, dual digital Touchscreen Display, Instrument panel, and dual-zone climate control. The Creta continues to be incredibly well-equipped with the Bose sound system, One of the standout features in the new Creta is the panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, and tonnes of connected car features.
The inside of the Creta is even slicker now. The general expanse and fit finish are the same as the previous one. The look changes substantially with the new dashboard layout.
Power & Performance
The Hyundai Creta facelift offers a range of engine options to suit different driving preferences. You can choose between petrol and diesel engines, both of which have been Six and Seven-tuned to deliver better performance and efficiency. Hyundai recently updated its engine to be BS6 Phase-2 compliant, so the Creta continues with its previous set of powertrains. There are some changes though. The engine options start with 1.5 petrol, and a 1.5 turbo diesel is on offer too with the range-topper being the new 1.5 turbo petrol which is also available in the all-new Verna. The previous Creta came with a 1.4 litre turbo which is now discontinued.
On the transmission side, there is a six-speed manual or a continuously variable transmission called iVT for the naturally aspirated petrol engine. Diesel gets a 6-speed torque converter or a 6-speed manual while the turbo petrol gets a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The petrol engine provides a smooth and responsive drive, perfect for city commuting and highway cruising. On the other hand, the diesel engine offers excellent torque, making it ideal for those who need extra power for towing or off-road driving.
