Huawei Mate XT
The Huawei Mate Xs is an astonishing smartphone that takes a huge step towards reimagining how we should use smartphones with its revolutionary design. The Mate Xs is the follow-up to the original Huawei Mate X, which was among the first few foldable phones in the market when it debuted in 2020. The Mate Xs is built on top of that foundation, improving both design and build. And what better way to understand its awesomeness than by looking into the Huawei Mate Xs specifications?
Foldable Design
The most unique selling point of the Huawei Mate Xs is its foldable form factor. Folded up, it resembles a typical smartphone with a 6.4-inch display screen on the front and an additional 7.9 panel on its back But once you open it up, a phone will expand to an 8-inch tablet. So why not get the best of both worlds with a flexible design? Animated GIF — functionality: You pick it up as a compact phone as if you were leaving, and expand it into a tablet when needed to watch a video or work.
Huawei uses this hinge specified as the “Falcon Wing Hinge” for its folding mechanism. It’s made to last 200,000 folds and unfolds—so you can snap vertically back and forth without a thing. The display itself is constructed from a durable and elastic material, allowing it to be folded repeatedly.
Display Quality
The orange hue is just beautiful and the Tri-foldable LTPO OLED screen produces vibrant colors and true blacks, which we have come to expect of a big-brand flagship. Makes sense… video looks good and gaming is pretty enjoyable using the display as well. The unfolded 10.2-inch display has a resolution of 2232 x 3184 pixels ensuring images are sharp and text is crisp The resolution of the front display is 1008 x 2232 pixels, and for the rear display, it is 22048 x 2232 pixels.
Powerful Performance
The Huawei Mate Xs is powered by one of the most powerful processors, the Kirin 9010 (7 nm) 5G chipset, which makes the mobile work process smooth and fast. It is a high-performance, backward-compatible, low-consumption chip that can run multiple applications simultaneously without any delay. It also includes 5G connectivity for faster internet speed where there is 5G coverage.
The phone has 16GB of RAM + 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of storage combinations, which must be sufficient for most. If you desire additional storage, Huawei provides room for expandability with a Nano Memory card. Huawei Mate Xs software perspectives But this is not complete with Google Services due to trade restrictions that mean you can’t use things like Google Play Store, or Gmail on the device. Instead, Huawei provides an app store called AppGallery, in which you can download a wide variety of apps.
Battery Life
On the battery segment, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is powered by a 3,300 mAh battery compared to the Huawei Mate Xs which has 5,600mAh. This is to make sure the phone can deliver one full day of battery life while it probably has a big display. The giant is also available in multiple Charging Options, 66Wwired, 50W wireless, 7.5W reverse wireless, and 55W reverse wired fast charger, which can juice up the phone from 0% to 85% in less than 30 minutes. It still does not have wireless charging, but it charges rapidly over the wire.
Camera System
The variety of this camera system also delivers the ability to capture great photos and videos, with some compromise. It has a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, a 12MP telephoto lens, and a ToF (Time-of-Flight) sensor for depth detection. And also has a front camera of 8 MP, f/2.2, (wide) with HDR.
